Terra Campbell (she/her) is a Chicago-based community leader, public health advocate, and nonprofit professional dedicated to advancing equity, visibility, and meaningful opportunities for LGBTQ+ communities.

Terra brings extensive experience in community organizing, strategic partnerships, public health initiatives, and large-scale event coordination. Her leadership centers on ensuring that Pride remains rooted in the communities, advocates, and everyday people whose courage and contributions have shaped the movement.

With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and public health, Terra has led initiatives focused on expanding access to healthcare, strengthening community partnerships, and addressing systemic barriers affecting underserved populations. Over seven years of community event and partnership leadership, she helped secure more than $750,000 in combined sponsorship and in-kind support while coordinating health fairs, educational summits, community celebrations, and public health campaigns.

Terra is also the founder of Mind Your Medz Community Connections LLC, an initiative focused on health education, advocacy, workforce development, and connecting communities to essential resources and care. Guided by the belief that “Our lived experiences are credentials,” her work recognizes community knowledge as essential to building stronger, more responsive institutions.

In addition to her work with PRIDEChicago, Terra serves as Board Secretary for Life Is Work and contributes to initiatives supporting transgender leadership, community health workers, HIV advocacy, and LGBTQ+ inclusion.

A passionate advocate for representation and community-centered leadership, Terra believes Pride must be more than a celebration. It must also be a platform for connection, collective action, and lasting change.
