Grand Marshals
For the first time in Chicago Pride history, a local community group will lead the parade as the inaugural “Out Front” Leader, followed by this year’s Community Grand Marshals.
TaskForce Prevention & Community Services, an LGBTQ+ youth-focused health and wellness organization located on the west side of Chicago, will lead the 2025 Chicago Pride Parade. TaskForce is being honored for its decades of unwavering service, providing critical resources, advocacy, and support to LGBTQ+ youth, particularly those in underserved communities.
Dr. Maya Green and Dr. Catherine Creticos will serve as the 2025 Community Grand Marshals. Both honorees were selected through an online nomination process, reflecting their profound impact on healthcare, advocacy, and the LGBTQ+ community.
The 54th annual Chicago Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. at the corner of Sheridan and Broadway. The parade will travel through the heart of Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ Northalsted neighborhood, uniting thousands of people from all walks of life to celebrate pride, visibility, and community.

2024 Grand Marshals
Three prominent couples served as Grand Marshals for the 53rd annual Chicago Pride Parade. Comedian Fortune Feimster and her wife, Jax Smith, served as celebrity Grand Marshals. The two met at Chicago Pride in 2015, just days after the Supreme Court’s historic ruling for nationwide marriage equality.
Feimster and Smith were joined by Community Grand Marshals Art Johnston and José Pepe Peña, longtime LGBTQ+ activists and owners of Sidetrack, and high-profile transgender couple and community organizers Myles and Precious Brady-Davis.
PRIDEChicago has hosted numerous grand marshals from the world of sports, music, film, and TV.
Some of the grand marshals include: John Amaechi (2007), Eric Alva (2008), Billy Bean (2003), Alexandra Billings (2009), Orlando Cruz (2018), Wilson Cruz (2005), Lea Delaria (2017), Wade Davis (2013), Ty Herndon (2015), Greg Louganis (1999), Chuck Panozzo (2002), Monica Raymund (2016), Fernanda Rocha (2011), Will Sheridan (2014), George Takei (2006), Esera Tuaolo (2004), Evan Wolfson (2012), Chely Wright (2010), and many others.
