Support the Legacy of Pride

Make An Impact

Grounded in the legacy of founders Richard Pfeiffer and Tim Frye, PRIDEChicago is proud to carry forward the history of the iconic Chicago Pride Parade while growing and evolving alongside the community we serve. We honor where we’ve been, celebrate who we are today, and help make space for what comes next.

Beyond producing the Chicago Pride Parade, PRIDEChicago reinvests in organizations and programs supporting LGBTQ+ youth, seniors, and intergenerational initiatives—strengthening connection, dignity, and opportunity in Chicago and across Illinois.

PRIDEChicago is rooted in community and powered by volunteers. With no paid staff, your support directly helps produce the parade, fund community initiatives, and sustain the year-round work that keeps Pride accessible, inclusive, and community-centered.

When you give to PRIDEChicago, you’re supporting more than a parade. You’re investing in the people, stories, and communities that have made Pride possible for generations—and helping carry that legacy forward.

PRIDEChicago Gives Back

Donations & Sponsorships

Through the “Out Front” sponsorship program, PRIDEChicago awards sponsorship and donations to local nonprofits and community organizations that provide essential support, services, and programming for LGBTQ+ populations in Chicagoland area.

In a historic first, a local community group led the 54th annual Chicago Pride Parade in 2025 as the inaugural “Out Front” Leader—a new tradition honoring grassroots impact. TaskForce Prevention & Community Services, a West Side-based LGBTQ+ youth health and wellness organization, was selected for its decades-long commitment to advocacy and support for underserved LGBTQ+ youth.

In a powerful continuation of a new tradition, PRIDEChicago announced the Puerto Rican Cultural Center (PRCC) as the “Out Front” Leader for the 55th annual Chicago Pride Parade 2026. The PRCC was selected for its tireless work in the Humboldt Park community. By dismantling homophobia and transphobia through the lens of public health and housing justice, the PRCC has woven LGBTQ+ advocacy into the very fabric of community care.

Celebrating Community

During the 2025 Pride Kick-off at Sidetrack, PRIDEChicago recognized TaskForce Prevention and Community Services, the Chicago Pride Parade's inaugural “Out Front” honoree. TaskForce, which focuses on youth and young adults on Chicago’s West Side, was awarded a $5,000 donation from PRIDEChicago in support of its ongoing work. The event also spotlighted Dr. Maya Green, named one of this year’s Community Grand Marshals.
