Our Community Grand Marshals are local leaders whose advocacy and contributions have made a lasting impact on Chicago’s LGBTQ+ community — and on society as a whole.
For 2026, with the support of community input, PRIDEChicago proudly welcomed journalist and historian Tracy Baim; civil rights leader Mona Noriega; philanthropist and community advocate Evette Cardona; and the Alliance of Illinois Judges — as our Community Grand Marshals.
PRIDEChicago invites your nominations for 2027 honorees. Participating in the nomination process helps bring people together, celebrate resilience, and shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of our community.

Nomination Form
Use this form to highlight an individual who embodies the spirit of Pride, elevates voices, and expands opportunity for all. Share their inspiring story and impact, helping us recognize and honor the champions of courage and compassion in our community.
The nomination process is open from October 1 – December 31, 2026. The final selection for Community Grand Marshals will be made by the PRIDEChicago Board of Directors and announced in April 2027. Both self-nominations and nominations submitted by organizations or individuals are welcome.

2026 Grand Marshals
In 2026, the Chicago Pride Parade embraced the theme “Free to Be Proud,” led by Community Grand Marshals Tracy Baim, Mona Noriega, Evette Cardona, and the Alliance of Illinois Judges.
Through our Out Front community initiative, PRIDEChicago also awarded a 2026 parade sponsorship and donation to the Puerto Rican Cultural Center, recognizing their tireless work to dismantle homophobia and transphobia through public health and housing justice in Humboldt Park.
