Proud to Run

Proud to Run Chicago has been a cherished part of Chicago’s LGBTQ+ Pride Week activities since its inception in 1982. This annual event combines fitness, community, and philanthropy, offering a 10K run and 5K run/walk along Chicago’s picturesque lakefront.

The event celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride in a healthy, active way while also giving back to the community. Proceeds from Proud to Run benefit organizations that support the greater Chicago LGBTQ+ community, making it a meaningful way to participate in Pride celebrations.

With its focus on inclusivity, wellness, and philanthropy, Proud to Run Chicago continues to unite participants of all backgrounds in the spirit of Pride, creating an uplifting and empowering experience year after year.
