Pride in Chicago

In true Chicago fashion, the city marks Pride Month with an incredible lineup of events, including Chicago Pride Fest and the iconic Chicago Pride Parade.
While many festivities are centered in Northalsted—Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ neighborhood and home to one of the country’s most vibrant queer communities—Pride celebrations can be found throughout the city and suburbs.

This two-day festival, held in the historic Northalsted neighborhood, offers something for everyone, making it a highlight of Chicago’s Pride celebrations.
Proud to Run
Proud to Run Chicago has been a cherished part of Chicago’s LGBTQ+ Pride Week activities since its inception in 1982. This annual event combines fitness, community, and philanthropy, offering a 10K run and 5K run/walk along Chicago’s picturesque lakefront.
