Pride in Chicago
June is a time to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride, honor the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, and recognize the generations of people who have helped move equality forward. In true Chicago fashion, the city marks Pride Month with an incredible lineup of events, including Chicago Pride Fest and the iconic Chicago Pride Parade.
While many festivities are centered in Northalsted—Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ neighborhood and home to one of the country’s most vibrant queer communities—Pride celebrations can be found throughout the city and suburbs.
From street festivals and concerts to community gatherings, parties, and cultural events, Chicago comes alive with Pride throughout June, welcoming LGBTQ+ residents, visitors, friends, families, and allies from near and far.
