Halley Felty

Events Co-Coordinator

Born and raised in a small town in Missouri, Halley believes that strong communities and relationships are what make life meaningful. She studied Psychology at Mizzou, followed by a master’s degree in Child and Family Psychology at the University of Chester in the UK. She worked in research labs studying topics like schizophrenia, parent-child communication, child perceptions of gender, and how people understand death. Halley brings this foundational understanding of human behavior and relationships into her current work in large-scale events. Professionally, Halley has managed concert venues in Chicago for the past several years, and has been fortunate enough to develop connections with many local organizations. She views events as a tool for community building, and human connection. She strives to make all spaces in her care a place where everyone feels welcome and valued.

She feels incredibly grateful to be a part of PRIDEChicago and the larger Chicago LGBTQ+ community.
