Sapphic Comedy Hour

Hosts Sierra Kenyon and Rogue Schmidt bring seven sapphic comedians to our stage for a Pride comedy showcase that’s not to be missed. 21+.

Rey Tang (She/Her): Rey Tang is a Chicago-based writer, photographer, filmmaker, and performer. She believes that, through an intersectional understanding of media, she can one day achieve her dream of writing for television. Follow her @reytangerine

Paula Harrington (She/Her): Paula Harrington escaped Florida to be a comedian, writer, and actress in Chicago. She currently performs with Improvised Jane Austen and does stand up around the city when not taking existential walks. Follow her @paulavontrap

Tina Arfaee (They/Any): Tina Arfaee is a Chicago-based multidisciplinary performer, comedian, and international man of mystery who wants you to buy them a drink after the show uwu. Follow them @tinatwocats

Sonal Aggarwal (She/Her): Former international street performer turned emcee, Sonal Aggarwal has brought her talents to Chicago as an actor, comedian, producer, and movement artist. Her one woman show The Alchemy of Bliss played for a sold-out weekend at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theater and you can see her on Netflix’s Easy as well as the short A Period Piece which debuted at SXSW 2020. Emma Day (She/Her): Emma Day is a stand-up and radio host from (the)Chicago(suburbs). She hosts The Lesbian Lodge monthly at The Lincoln Lodge, but if you miss the sound of her voice you can hear her most weeknights on 101.9 the Mix. Follow her @alldayemmaday

Hoja Lopez (She/Her): Hoja is a queer Venezuelan comedian, writer and actress living in Chicago, IL. She is currently a writer and producer for Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, The Dough and Elyse Meyer’s, Funny Cuz’ it’s True podcast. Since 2022 she has produced and regularly contributed guest writing for NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me. Hoja is also the creator and co-host of the web series “Gay News”. Her work has been recognized in The Houston Chronicle, NBC and NPR. Follow her @alojahoja

Kim Iheme-The ADHD Comedian (She/Her): The ADHD Comedian got her Chicago comedy chops as a diversity grad of iO theater- she’s a former Bob Curry Fellow and Second City’s 110th revue MainStage understudy. Her love for storytelling and authenticity is what brought her to stand up and her corporate gig got her to sit down. On the weekend, you can find her being a single dog mom to her baby Fig and watching the best of what Bravo has to offer. Follow her @theadhdcomedian

Sierra Kenyon (She/Her): Sierra Kenyon (she/her) is a writer, dancer, comedian, singer, and actor. She has performed at Annoyance, iO, Lincoln Lodge, Zanie’s, Laugh Factory, and The Paper Machete. Sierra is most known for her revered and sold-out solo show: Sierra’s Ungodly Hour and has won awards for writing and voicing her commercial work. She played her first titular role in Goodnight, Gladys, which was awarded runner-up for Best of Chicago 2023: New Play. She is a scuba-certified citizen scientist and host of Brutal Sketch Comedy. Sharks and big cats don’t scare her, but the eeEeEEeE of the redline and the Air and Water show do. When she’s not performing she can be found underwater looking for critters, info-dumping, or spreading the gay agenda. Follow her @sierra_skank_kenyon

Rogue Schmidt (They/She): Rogue Schmidt (they/she) is a queer comedian and actor living in Chicago. They are repped by Grossman and Jack Talent and won Chicago Reader’s Best Comedian in January of 2024. Their debut solo show, “The Locker Room” ran at The Annoyance Theatre for 6 sold-out weeks and is debuting at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August of 2024. Rogue tours their solo characters all around the city,is a frequent contributor to The Paper Machete at The Green Mill, and they were cast in the Just For Laughs Character Showcase at The Annoyance in 2023. Rogue is part of ensembles, Burlesque is More at The Annoyance Theatre, and they produce and host Brutal Sketch Comedy, a monthly variety show at The Lincoln Lodge. Follow them @rogueschmidt
