Get Ready to Shine: Joliet PrideFest is Back!

Mark your calendars, grab your glitter, and dust off your rainbow gear—the Joliet Pride Network is bringing energy, love, and community back to town! On Saturday, September 19th, Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park will transform into a vibrant celebration for this year’s theme: “Rooted in Pride.”

Running from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this free, family-friendly daytime festival is all about connecting, celebrating diversity, and creating unforgettable memories. No matter who you are or who you love, there is a place for you to stand loud and proud.

Daytime festivities feature a full lineup of excitement. You can catch a spectacular daytime drag show and cheer on local stars at the Community Talent Show. Fuel up throughout the day with a fantastic variety of local food trucks, and browse the vendor market to support local LGBTQ+-affirming businesses, artisans, and organizations. The event offers fun for all ages, featuring dedicated Kid Zones filled with family activities alongside interactive Teen Zones so the whole crew can join the party.

The fun does not stop when the sun goes down. Keep the celebration rolling with PrideFest After Dark from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This exclusive 18+ ticketed event features sizzling nighttime drag performances and culminates in the crowning of the next Miss Joliet PrideFest!
