Chicago Pride Parade

The 53rd annual Chicago Pride Parade steps off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from W. Sheridan and N. Broadway in Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ Northalsted neighborhood.
Fortune Feimster, a beloved stand-up comedian, writer, and actor, along with her wife Jax, will lead the procession as Grand Marshals.
“We are honored to be named the Grand Marshals for Chicago Pride,” said Feimster. “Chicago holds a special place in our hearts—it’s home to a great comedy scene and home to the best audiences. It’s also where Jax and I first met nine years ago, during Pride. As we celebrate our community and our anniversary, it feels like a beautiful full-circle moment.”
Chicago activist and bar owner Art Johnston and his partner in life and business, Jose “Pepe” Pena, plus longtime LGBTQ+ activists, community organizers and high-profile transgender couple Myles and Precious Brady-Davis are this year’s Community Grand Marshals.
The parade, featuring 150 colorful entries, will travel the 20-block parade route from Sheridan south on Broadway; then south on Halsted; then east on Belmont; then south on Broadway; then east on Diversey to Cannon Drive.
This year’s theme is “Pride is Power”.
