Support the Legacy of Pride

Make An Impact

Grounded in the legacy of founders Richard Pfeiffer and Tim Frye, we’re proud to carry forward the history of the iconic Chicago Pride Parade while continuing to grow and evolve alongside our community. We believe in honoring where we’ve been, celebrating who we are today, and making space for what’s next.

Beyond producing the parade, PRIDEChicago reinvests in organizations and programs that support LGBTQ+ youth, seniors, and intergenerational initiatives — helping create connection, dignity, and opportunity in Chicago and across Illinois.

PRIDEChicago is rooted in community and powered by volunteers. With no paid staff, every dollar you give goes directly toward the parade, community grants, and year-round work that keeps Pride accessible, inclusive, and community-centered.

When you give to PRIDEChicago, you’re not just supporting a parade — you’re supporting the people, stories, and communities that make Pride possible.

Through the “Out Front” sponsorship program, PRIDEChicago awards sponsorship and donations to local nonprofits and community organizations that provide essential support, services, and programming for LGBTQ+ populations in Chicagoland area.

In a historic first, a local community group led the 54th annual Chicago Pride Parade in 2026 as the inaugural “Out Front” Leader—a new tradition honoring grassroots impact. TaskForce Prevention & Community Services, a West Side-based LGBTQ+ youth health and wellness organization, was selected for its decades-long commitment to advocacy and support for underserved LGBTQ+ youth.
