2022 Parade

The 51st annual Chicago Pride Parade officially returned Sunday, June 26, 2022 after being canceled in 2020 and 2021, marking a first in its 50-year history.

After the cancelations, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people were ready to celebrate and the 2022 parade was bigger than ever!

This parade was bittersweet for coordinator Tim Frye, whose husband Richard Pfeiffer died of cancer in October 2019. Pfeiffer coordinated the annual parade since 1974.
