Participating in the Chicago Pride Parade is not only an unforgettable experience but also a powerful expression of visibility and unity for Chicago’s LGBTQ+ community.
With a live broadcast on ABC7 Chicago, the parade is viewed and attended by over one million people, amplifying its message of love, acceptance, and advocacy to a wide audience.
Stretching over two miles, the Parade winds through Chicago’s historic LGBTQ+ neighborhood in Lakeview, continuing into Lincoln Park. The route is lined with a sea of supporters waving rainbow flags, creating a joyful and electric atmosphere.
The application process for the 2025 Chicago Pride Parade will open in March, if not sooner. Please subscribe to our newsletter and social media, which will keep you updated when applications open again.

Guidelines
The Chicago Pride Parade is to celebrate, commemorate, educate and liberate the LGBTQ+ community. We expect all parade participants and spectators to support the LGBTQ+ community and conduct themselves in a manner consistent with our values of Respect, Kindness, Integrity, and Positivity.
- Participation is by application only
- Max. 150 entries allowed
- Max. 100 participants per entry
- Only 1 vehicle allowed per entry
- Entry process closes when all spots are filled
- Not every applicant will be accepted
- No cancellations/No refunds
